This Cookie Policy explains how Saffaroo ('we', 'us', or 'our') uses cookies and similar technologies when you use the Saffaroo mobile application and website, including any related URLs, sub-domains and localised versions (together, the 'Services').
Saffaroo is operated by Cindy Bagg, trading as Jaycin, of Mensa Place, Castle Hill, Sydney, New South Wales 2154, Australia.
This policy explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and the choices you have. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains more broadly how we handle your personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
The Saffaroo mobile app is delivered through an embedded browser. This means cookies work in the app much as they do on a website, but the app also uses technologies that are not cookies, including local storage, a device identifier and a push notification token. These cannot be managed through your browser settings. Where relevant, we explain below how to control them through your device settings instead.

We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics. We do not run analytics, session recording or behavioural tracking on the Services. We do not display third-party advertising in the Services, we do not sell your personal information, and we do not permit third parties to track you across other apps or websites for advertising purposes.
Cookies are either session cookies, which expire when you close your browser or the app, or persistent cookies, which remain until they expire or you delete them.
These are required for the Services to function and cannot be switched off. They enable core functionality such as signing in, keeping your session secure, remembering your cookie preferences, and accessibility features. If you block these, we cannot guarantee that the Services will work.
These remember choices you make so that we do not have to ask again, such as your selected city, your saved listings and events, and your notification settings. They are not essential, but without them you would need to re-enter these preferences each time you visit.
Some cookies and similar technologies on the Services are set by providers we rely on to operate Saffaroo. Each of these providers handles data under its own privacy policy.
Some of these providers store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States, Israel, Germany and the United Kingdom. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle cross-border disclosure under Australian Privacy Principle 8.

| OneSignal | Delivers push notifications. Uses a device token to identify your device, only if you opt in to notifications. |
Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. Blocking cookies may worsen your experience of the Services and may stop you staying signed in. Disabling a cookie does not delete it — you will need to clear it from within your browser. Browser manufacturers provide their own guidance:
You can turn push notifications off at any time in your Saffaroo notification settings, or in your device settings under Settings → Notifications. On iOS you can also limit app tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security. Clearing the app's stored data through your device settings will remove locally stored preferences.
You can delete your Saffaroo account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your stored profile information in line with our Privacy Policy.
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Services or to our practices. Unless the law requires otherwise, we will let you know through the Services before material changes take effect and give you an opportunity to review them. If you continue to use the Services after the changes take effect, you will be bound by the updated policy. If you do not agree, you can delete your account.
